This premium safari combines the northern circuit with a beach extension to Zanzibar. You'll explore Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater before flying to Zanzibar for four nights on the beautiful Michamvi beaches. Day 01
Arrive in Arusha
You'll be picked up from Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the option to explore Arusha City, which sits at the foot of Mount Meru and serves as the gateway to the northern safari circuit. Overnight at The African Tulip Hotel on full board.
Day 02
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for morning and afternoon game drives. The park is famous for its massive baobab trees and large herds of elephants. You'll overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge on the Rift Valley escarpment on full board.
Day 03
Lake Manyara National Park
Spend the day in Lake Manyara National Park, known for its flamingos, over 400 bird species, and diverse wildlife including tree-climbing lions and elephants. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch. Overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House near the Ngorongoro Gate on full board.
Day 04
Serengeti National Park
Travel to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint. Enjoy an afternoon game drive and a picnic lunch in the park, renowned for its incredible wildlife and the Great Migration. Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge on full board.
Day 05
Serengeti National Park
A full day exploring the Serengeti with morning game drives on the northwestern plains. You'll carry a lunch box for a picnic in the wild, followed by a late afternoon game drive. Another night at Serengeti Serena Lodge on full board.
Day 06
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, enjoy a game drive as you make your way out of the Serengeti plains. After a picnic lunch, you'll drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for overnight. Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge on the crater rim on full board.
Day 07
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. The crater is home to over 20,000 large animals, including black rhinos. Following a picnic lunch, you'll ascend and return to Arusha. Overnight at The African Tulip Hotel on full board.
Day 08
Arusha to Zanzibar
After breakfast, you'll have time to explore Arusha town, with possible visits to Shanga House, Cultural Heritage, or the Maasai Market. After lunch, you'll fly to Zanzibar and be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at Legendary Zanzibar Beach Resort on half board.
Day 09
Zanzibar (Michamvi Beaches)
A free day to relax on the beach or arrange your own excursions such as a spice tour, Stone Town city tour, Prison Island, snorkeling, or deep sea fishing. Overnight at Legendary Zanzibar Beach Resort on half board.
Day 10
Zanzibar (Michamvi Beaches)
Another free day to enjoy the beach or plan optional excursions at your own pace. Overnight at Legendary Zanzibar Beach Resort on half board.
Day 11
Zanzibar (Michamvi Beaches)
Your final full day in Zanzibar to relax or take part in any last excursions. Overnight at Legendary Zanzibar Beach Resort on half board.
Day 12
Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport from Zanzibar with amazing memories of your safari and beach escape.
