This compact safari combines the iconic Ngorongoro Crater with two full days in Serengeti National Park. After arrival and an optional Arusha city tour, you'll explore the crater's abundant wildlife before venturing into the endless plains of the Serengeti. The itinerary concludes with a game drive on departure, offering maximum wildlife exposure in just four days.
Day 01
Arrive in Arusha
​You'll be picked up from Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the option to explore Arusha City, which sits at the foot of Mount Meru and serves as the gateway to the northern safari circuit. Overnight at Green Mountain Hotel on full board.
Day 02
Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. The crater is home to over 20,000 large animals, including black rhinos. Following a picnic lunch, you'll ascend and drive through the crater rim forest to the Serengeti plains. Overnight at Osero Serengeti Tented Camp on full board.
Day 03
Serengeti National Park
A full day exploring the Serengeti with morning game drives on the northwestern plains. You'll carry a lunch box for a picnic in the wild, followed by a late afternoon game drive. Another night at Osero Serengeti Tented Camp on full board.
Day 04
Serengeti National Park to Departure
On your final day, enjoy a morning game drive as you make your way out of the Serengeti. You'll then drive to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your evening flight. Note that this itinerary works best for evening or night flights; otherwise, an additional overnight in Arusha may be needed. Full board included.
