This itinerary offers a balanced exploration of Tanzania's northern circuit, including Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. With two nights in Serengeti, you'll have ample time to witness the Great Migration and diverse wildlife. The safari begins and ends at Oiti Boma Lodge in Arusha, with comfortable lodge accommodations throughout.
Day 01
Arrive in Arusha
You'll be picked up from Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the option to explore Arusha City, which sits at the foot of Mount Meru and serves as the gateway to the northern safari circuit. Day 02
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for morning and afternoon game drives. The park is famous for its massive baobab trees and large herds of elephants. You'll overnight at Eileen's Trees Lodge in Karatu on full board.
Day 03
Serengeti National Park
Travel to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint. Enjoy an afternoon game drive and a picnic lunch in the park, which is renowned for its incredible wildlife and the Great Migration. Overnight at Osero Serengeti Tented Camp on full board.
Day 04
Serengeti National Park
A full day exploring the Serengeti with morning game drives on the southeastern plains. You'll carry a lunch box for a picnic in the wild, followed by a late afternoon game drive. Another night at Osero Serengeti Tented Camp on full board.
Day 05
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, drive from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. The crater is home to over 20,000 large animals, including black rhinos. Following a picnic lunch, you'll ascend and return to Arusha. Overnight at Oiti Boma Lodge Arusha on full board.
Day 06
Departure
After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure, depending on your flight time. Breakfast included.
