9 Days 8 Nights Safari

​A detailed safari that begins with Arusha National Park before venturing to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and the Serengeti for two nights. After exploring Ngorongoro Crater, you'll enjoy an extra day for crater rim walks or Maasai village visits. The itinerary features Oiti Boma Lodge for arrival and departure, with Osero Serengeti Tented Camp providing an authentic bush experience.

Day 01

Arrive in Arusha

You'll be picked up from Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport and transferred to your lodge. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the option to explore Arusha City, which sits at the foot of Mount Meru and serves as the gateway to the northern safari circuit. Overnight at Oiti Boma Lodge on full board.

Day 02

 Arusha National Park

After breakfast, drive to Arusha National Park for morning and afternoon game drives. The park is home to giraffes, buffalo, zebras, colobus monkeys, elephants, and lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch between game drives before returning to Arusha. Overnight at Oiti Boma Lodge on full board.

Day 03

 Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for morning and afternoon game drives. The park is famous for its massive baobab trees and large herds of elephants that roam the gently rolling countryside. You'll overnight at Ngare Lodge in Mto wa Mbu on full board.

Day 04

Lake Manyara National Park

Spend the day in Lake Manyara National Park, known for its flamingos, over 400 bird species, and diverse wildlife including tree-climbing lions, elephants, and blue monkeys. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch. Overnight at Eileen's Trees Lodge in Karatu on full board.

Day 05

Serengeti National Park

Travel to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint, where you'll pause to take in the breathtaking views. Enjoy an afternoon game drive and a picnic lunch in the park, renowned for its incredible wildlife and the Great Migration. Overnight at Osero Serengeti Tented Camp on full board.

Day 06

Serengeti National Park

A full day exploring the Serengeti with morning game drives on the northwestern plains. You'll carry a lunch box for a picnic in the wild, following the movements of wildebeest and zebras. A late afternoon game drive leads you back to camp. Another night at Osero Serengeti Tented Camp on full board.

Day 07

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. Known as the eighth wonder of the world, the crater shelters over 20,000 large animals, including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhinos. Following a picnic lunch, you'll ascend and drive to Arusha. Overnight at Oiti Boma Lodge on full board.

Day 08

Ngorongoro Conservation Area Exploration

Enjoy a second day exploring the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with opportunities for a crater rim walk or a visit to a Maasai village to learn about local culture. Alternatively, you may choose to visit the Empakaai Crater or Olduvai Gorge. Return to Arusha for overnight at Oiti Boma Lodge on full board.

Day 09

 Departure

After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport for your flight home, depending on your departure time. Breakfast included.
